Bob is responsible for serving and advising a national client base at Washington Trust Wealth Management. He works with clients and their advisors to develop financial solutions and planning strategies utilizing Washington Trust Wealth Management’s comprehensive suite of services, including investment management, financial planning, trust and estate planning, as well as the Bank’s deposit and lending services. Bob works with clients ranging from families managing wealth across several generations to business owners, entrepreneurs, and other creators of first-generation wealth.
Bob has more than 30 years of experience in the financial and accounting industries, having held several senior developmental and leadership positions. Prior to joining Washington Trust, Bob served as Executive Director of the Rhode Island Society of CPA’s (RISCPA) for 12 years where he oversaw the operations of the more than 2,400-member society, advanced business development and partnership efforts, and bolstered the organization’s mission to support a strong business environment in the State.
Bob holds his bachelor's degree from Providence College and a Certificate of Banking from The New England School of Banking at Williams College.
A Rhode Island resident, Bob is active in his community and serves as a member of the St. Elizabeth Community finance and nominating committees, the Public Finance Management board for RI’s General Treasurer, as Vice Chair of RI’s Health Services Council, as Chairman of Gateway Real Estate Board, a division of Lifespan, and as a member of the RI Commodores.
